My primary goal during the intake session and the first couple of follow-up sessions is to build trust and create a sense of safety. As we go through the intake, Iāll review important boundaries and expectations to ensure we're on the same page about working together. My approach is always trauma-informed, which means I make sure to leave plenty of space for you to ask questions and share your preferences.
From there, I tailor future sessions to your individual needs and goals ā thereās no one-size-fits-all approach here. I draw from various modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Expressive Arts, and Attachment-Focused therapy, to best support you and your journey.
Perinatal Support
The perinatal period ā before, during, and after pregnancy ā can bring unique challenges and transitions. Iām here to offer support during this vulnerable time, helping you feel empowered with the tools and resources you need to navigate these changes with confidence. My goal is to be a part of the village you build around you, ensuring that your fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum experiences are safe, healthy, and joyful.
